For Muslim families, we do our best to arrange carers who understand and respect Islamic practice, including prayer times, halal food preparation, and modesty during personal care, with gender preference accommodated wherever possible.

Bangladeshi and South Asian community care

We support Bangladeshi and wider South Asian families with carers familiar with cultural routines, food and everyday practices, helping elderly relatives feel at home rather than adjusting to an unfamiliar approach to care.

Language-matched carers

Being understood in your own language matters, especially for older people or those with memory-related conditions. Where possible, we match clients with Bengali, Sylheti, Urdu or Arabic speaking carers.

Do you have Muslim carers available?

We work to match clients with carers who share their faith and cultural background wherever possible. Please contact our team to discuss your specific requirements and current carer availability.

Can I request a carer of a specific gender for religious reasons?

We do our best to accommodate gender preferences for personal care, though availability can vary, please discuss this with our team when arranging care.

Do you have Bengali or Sylheti speaking carers?

We do our best to match clients with Bengali or Sylheti speaking carers where possible. Availability can vary, so please get in touch to discuss your language preferences.

Do you have Urdu or Arabic speaking carers?

Where possible, we look to match Urdu or Arabic speaking clients with a carer who shares their language. Please contact us to discuss availability for your area.

Is halal food preparation catered for?

Yes. We can accommodate halal food preparation as part of meal support, please let us know your requirements during assessment.

What does multilingual or language-matched care actually mean?

It means we try to place a carer who speaks your or your loved one’s first language, so daily communication feels natural, particularly important for people with memory-related conditions.

Do you support families who are not Muslim but want culturally familiar care?

Yes. Our person-centred approach applies to any cultural, faith or language preference, not only Muslim or Bangladeshi families.

Is this cultural matching available for live-in care as well as daily visits?
